Hull High Fliers Trampoline Club have been an established club in the City of Hull since 1981. The club has undergone inspection and been awarded both “Gymmark” the British Gymnastics Sportsmark award for being a recognised safe, child friendly club and ERCAS (East Riding Council Accredited Sports Club). These inspections check that all coaches hold British Gymnastics coaching certificates and that all coaches and adults in sessions have a current CRB and have attended Child Protection and First Aid courses.
We also have a fully trained Welfare Officer who oversees that our procedures are followed and is an independent point of contact for any child, parent or coach with an issue they wish to discuss.
The club has a philosophy of being a club open to all, which can start at preschool level as coaches from the club are involved in “Tumbletime” a preschool gymnastics and trampoline session that runs from the Bonus Arena on Thursday mornings, leading into our fundamentals and foundation programmes of general class sessions for both children and adults of any ability which take place on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings.
For those wishing to compete, the club have a programme for development, performance and High Performance at club, regional and National level competition where we have a history of national podium successes with the 2009 national Championships showing Hull High Fliers as having the largest number of competitors qualifying from the Yorkshire region.
The club has a team of 31 coaches from level 1 assistant through to level 5 High Performance
The clubs reputation for producing top quality National events has resulted in us hosting, the Britain v Germany Youth International, the National Synchronised Championships and Grade 2 national Finals and numerous National championships qualifying galas. Having the best trampoline facility in Yorkshire, the club are host to all Yorkshire Trampoline events.
