Indoor Sports Pitches
There are three side-by-side indoor pitches with a sprung wooden flooring system complying with BS 7044, Artificial Sports Surfaces, Part 4, Specifications for Surfaces for Multi Sports Use. The floor is impact energy absorbing. Dividing rebound boards separate each pitch. (Please note that you cannot wear black-soled footwear on these pitches). The Hall has 300 fixed gallery seats for spectators to support their team and provide an exciting atmosphere to games.
Outdoor Sports Pitches
The outdoor pitches, one sand based and one water based, are designed for use as a centre of excellence for Hockey training. However, these pitches can be split into three very large transverse pitches, (separated by dividing heavy duty net curtains), making them suitable for 6-a-side football.
The League Format
There are many leagues to choose from to suit everyone over 15 who have a passion for football who just generally want to keep in shape. The leagues are in operation Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday between the hours of 6.30pm and 10pm.
Outdoor leagues are 6-a-side whereas the indoor leagues are 5-a-side.
We currently have places available for an immediate start.
Choose your League
The leagues that we are operating are as follows;
Monday: Indoor and Outdoor leagues
Tuesday: Indoor and Outdoor leagues
Thursday: Indoor and Outdoor leagues
We also have the provision for Wednesday and Friday should the interest arise.
Whichever evening league you decide to play in you are guaranteed to always play on the same night no matter what division you are in. Normally you will have one game a week with all evening games randomly starting no earlier than 6pm and finishing no later than 10pm.
At the end of the season the winners and the runners up will be offered a choice of their preferred ‘winners package’ and there will also be a Golden Boot Award for each league and a Golden Glove Award to the keeper who lets in the least number of goals.
Cost
It costs £35 per team to join the league for a season, which will cover affiliation to the East Riding County Football Association. The cost per game is then £27 per team, which will work out at £3.50 per player if you share the cost amongst your squad. It is advisable that ALL participants in active sports have their own personal insurance.
